Rural Cancer Stories

Amplifying Voices, Honoring Resilience, and Advancing Equity in Rural Cancer Care

Real Rural Cancer Patients. Real Stories.

This project was spearheaded by Andrew Armstrong, an RCI member and medical student at TCU school of medicine. It brings together a collection of rural cancer stories that reflect the experiences, challenges, and resilience of patients and families across rural communities. We hope these stories serve as a source of inspiration, understanding, and hope for rural cancer patients everywhere, while also raising awareness of the unique realities of cancer care in rural settings.
